How can you buy window treatments online? It really depends on which company you choose to buy from.

Here’s how it works:

1. Start by browsing the main navigation menu

Look around at the different kinds of blinds, shades and shutters we offer. Consider what's important for your home. Privacy? Light control? Convenience? Color? You'll start to get a sense of what you need most and then you can zero in on which window treatments are the best option.

2. Order free color samples

You can request up to 10 free color samples of any product to see the actual material and color in person.  Check the opacity and color in your window to see if it fits your expectations!

3. Measuring

This is one of the keys when ordering your blinds. You have to measure accurately.

No worries! You don’t have to know anything ahead of time – except how to use a tape measure and read the measurement. All you have to do is go to How to Measure page to learn how to accurately measure for the blind or shade you're interested in.

Contact our customer service team by phone, email or chat with any of your questions so that we can help you get everything right.

3. Customize your blinds to your liking

Every blind is a custom blind, meaning we don't make it until you order it! Select your size, color, mounting preference, operating system and other options to get a shade that's customized to your exact preferences.

6. Free Shipping

Almost every product you order from our inventory is completely free to ship, with the exception of very large blinds and shades (anything 94” wide or greater, and vertical blinds 94” and taller that incur an oversize shipping fee.

7. Installation

Now that’s it time for installation, so checkout our How to Install page for instructions on how install each type of blind or shade. Instructions will also be included with your order.

8. Your Blinds Don’t Fit? Thank Goodness for the “Fit or Free Guarantee!”

So let’s say that after the entire process, you try to install your blinds. But you realize they’re too wide, long, thin, or short. Whatever the problem is with fit, you can simply return your blinds to Blindster. We’ll remake them at no charge. You do have to cover shipping and any price difference (which is rare).

9. Still Not Satisfied? Return Your Custom Window Treatments in 60 Days for a Refund

You can return your blinds any time within this period for a refund. You do have to pay shipping costs and volume/contract orders of over $1,000 can only be returned for defects and warranty repair. But, you can feel good because all returned blinds get donated to a local charity.
