How to Install: Inside Mount

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do no-drill faux wood blinds stay up without screws?
These blinds use 3M adhesive peel-and-stick brackets that bond directly to the window frame interior. No screws, anchors, or drilling required — the brackets hold the headrail securely in place on contact.
Can no-drill faux wood blinds be installed on any window frame?
These blinds mount as inside-mount only and require a minimum frame depth of 2 1/8 inches for bracket placement. They work best on smooth, sealed surfaces. Frames with insufficient depth require a different product.
Do cordless no-drill faux wood blinds provide privacy?
Yes. The 2-inch vinyl slats feature a beveled edge design that closes flat, reducing light seepage and providing strong privacy coverage. Cordless operation adds a clean, cord-free appearance for any room.

Whether you can't or just don't want to use screws to install your new blind, we have the perfect solution for you – our No Tools Cordless Vinyl Faux Wood Blind! Instead of using screws to attach the brackets into your window frame, the installation brackets for this blind feature a strong and durable 3M adhesive strip that attaches to nearly any surface. Hanging your new blind is a snap with 1-2-3 installation: peel, stick, and then click the blind into the brackets! The blind itself is unique as well - our exclusive 2 Inch Cordless Vinyl Faux Wood blind delivers a distinctive look with better closure and light blocking than traditional faux wood blinds. Each slat closes more tightly to the next thanks to the thinner dimension and beveled-edge design, which helps reduce the amount of indirect light that can find its way into the room. The cordless lift feature and wand tilt control eliminate any dangling cords for a clean, modern look that is also safe for children and pets.Get to know this blind:

Features No Tools/No Drill brackets for easy installation that doesn't intrude into window frame

Distinctive slat design features a beveled edge on the front and back of the slat

Certified Best for Kids - cordless lift and wand tilter mean safe and easy operation with no dangling cords

Headrail design provides a finished look without requiring a separate valance

Why you'll love this blind:

Fast and easy installation with adhesive strips brackets – just peel, stick and hang your new blind!

No need to use a drill or screws, so installation is simple and doesn't damage your window casing

Ultra-light vinyl slats have a beveled edge for a distinctive look that allows slats to close more tightly and block more light

Contemporary slat shape puts a new spin on a classic design

Raise and lower the shade by gently pushing or pulling on the bottom rail – the cord-free design provides an uncluttered look and safe operation

Be sure to note:

Depending on your blind height, wand will be either 24" or 29" long

See installation instructions below for details on how to utilize the No Tools brackets

This blind is also available with standard brackets and installation screws

INSIDE MOUNT:Let's make sure an inside mount will work for your window! Using a metal tape measure, first check if you have sufficient depth:

Measure inside the window opening from the back of the window to the front of the opening where the blind would mount. The depth at the top of the window must be at least 2 1/8" to mount the brackets. To have a flush mount (meaning the blind is fully recessed in the window opening) the depth must be at least 3". If your depth is not sufficient for mounting the brackets, please see our outside mount instructions or consider a different product.

How to Measure:Let's start with the Width:

Measure inside of the window opening/frame from left to right to the nearest 1/8" at three places: at the top of the opening, the middle of the opening, and then the bottom of the opening. Write down all 3 measurements and circle the narrowest. If rounding is necessary, round down to the nearest 1/8". That is your ordering width.

Now, let's do the Height:

Measure the inside of the window opening/frame from the top of the opening to the bottom of the opening/sill to the nearest 1/8" in three places: on the left-hand side, the middle, and on the right-hand side. Write down all 3 measurements and circle the tallest. That is your ordering height.

Note: Always provide us with the actual measurement of the window opening. We will make the necessary deduction of approximately 1/4" to your blind's width to allow room for installation and for proper movement of the blind within the window opening. No deductions will be made to your height.

How to Measure: Inside Mount

I was able to use the existing mounts thankfully to hang the new blind. It works and fits perfectly. Very good quality.

Scott

Had to screw in because the tape did not hold very well after following directions. We do like them however. Had to create our own valence do to the gap at the top.

Valerie

Fairly quick shipping…million options…SUPER EASY install…quality product.

Chris

Excellent quality at a great price, plus speedy shipping and quality packaging. I love my new blinds! I'm using them to control the temperature in my greenhouse with 15 windows, and they work perfectly. Special shout-out to Jessica in Customer Service — she was so helpful and responsive with my installation questions.

Diane

The Blinds look great and install easily. Customer Service responded immediatly and exceeded my expectations!

These blinds saved me from not having to drill into the ceiling and to be able to put them in my shower window with acrylic frame. Though I got the measurements a little off and position the clips wrong they remade them and sending free with paying only for shipping
The adhesive is suppose to come off using a hair blower. We will see how that works and I will write another review.

Terri

Very pleased with my blinds and your customer service is outstanding!! Thank you! Candice

Candice

All pros, no cons. Easy installation, very affordable and arrived pretty quickly. My husband didn’t feel like helping me install the blinds when they arrived (I really thought it was going to be more complicated) he wanted to do it the next day, but I was too excited so I did it myself once I looked at the instructions. Easiest installation ever! I love the finished product, and I’m pretty proud of myself for doing it on my own (not that it was a big deal)!

Elena
