Can I order color samples of your shades?

Yes, you can order free color samples of all our products – in fact we encourage it! Ordering samples will let you see the color and opacity in person as part of your ordering process. Order up to 10 free samples from any product page, or see our full assortment on our free samples page.

If I order the same shades at a later date will the color still match?

We have strict tolerances for the color on all of our products, but there may be slight variations from batch to batch of material, especially in natural products like wood blinds and bamboo shades. For blinds that will be in the same room, we recommend ordering all blinds at the same time to avoid any differences in dye lots.

How do I pay for my order?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you prefer to pay by check or money order, please contact us before placing your order. Additionally, we offer third-party financing options so you can pay for your order over time. We do not accept PayPal or credit cards from foreign banks.

Does Blindster charge sales tax?

Recent tax laws now require us to charge sales tax in most states. When you enter your shipping address at checkout, we will add any necessary sales tax to your order and remit the sales tax to the appropriate state.

Yes, sales tax can be waived if you provide us with a copy of your state-issued tax-exempt certificate prior to placing your order.

Your credit card will be charged at the time you submit your order. All our products are custom-made to your specifications, so we require payment in full before production of your order begins.

Production of your order usually starts the first business day after we receive it. We must be notified within one business day from the time your order is placed to cancel or make any changes. Since your order is custom made to your specifications, it can't be changed once in production.

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?

When you place your order online, you will immediately receive an order confirmation by email. Check your junk/spam folder if you do not receive the confirmation email right away as some email services incorrectly flag this email as spam. You will also receive updates when your order ships.

How can I check the status of my order?

You may check the status of your order on our order tracking page using your order number and email address. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email notification with tracking information within 24-48 hours.

How do I order replacement parts for my Blindster shade, blind, or shutter?

Our friendly customer service team is happy to assist you with ordering parts for a previous order! Contact us by phone or email and we'll help get you what you need. If you have your order number available that will help us identify the correct parts.

I'm waiting for swatches before I order but I don't want to miss the sale – can I still get the discount after the sale ends?

We do ask that you place at least one item in the cart and call in for one of our sales associates to place the order on hold. This is how you can secure the promotional discount while you wait for swatches to arrive. We do not guarantee that a swatch order alone will lock in your discount.
