Decide inside or outside mount
This is a step that is often overlooked, but it's key to finalizing what type of blind, shade or shutter will work for our needs and your windows, and to measuring your windows correctly. You can learn more in our breakdown of Inside Mounts vs Outside Mounts for Blinds and Shades.
Measure your windows
Once you have chosen which product you would like, it's time to measure those windows! We have detailed measuring instructions for each of our blinds, shades, and shutters for both inside and outside mount. Remember to use a steel measuring type and measure your windows, not your old blinds!
Choose your options
Based on which product you're ordering, there may be a few additional options to choose from to get the most of your new window covering.  Want to add a liner to your bamboo shade? Want to go motorized to raise your shades with the push of a button? Customize the perfect shade for you!
Build your cart
